Attorney General Cuccinelli announces winners
of
"Gang-Free Community" poster design contest
On November 19, 2011, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli announced the winners of the "Gang-Free Community" poster design contest. This contest was open to Richmond Public School students, and was part of the Office of the Attorney General's Richmond Community Day and Richmond Public School's "Safe Schools Month" activities.
The winning poster was drawn by fifth grader Mikala Farrar. Second place went to Karina Prieto, also a fifth grade student, and third place was awarded to Sandra Castelan, a fourth grader.
The attorney general also presented a trophy to Carrie Lindenfield, Safety Trainer for Richmond Public Schools in the Department of Safety & Security.
