Attorney General Mark Herring values the input of the public and strives to provide exceptional constituent services. He and his office work to answer questions or concerns from the public in a thorough and timely manner. Constituent Services also assists Virginia residents in resolving issues involving state agencies.

Attorney General Herring also maintains an active role in the legislative process, assisting the legislature with legal questions and advancing his own legislative priorities. His director of Legislative Affairs serves as the primary liaison to the General Assembly. The director advocates on behalf of Attorney General Herring's top legislative priorities and provides information on the Attorney General’s office and programs to the Legislature and legislative committee staff.

Bio

Brittany Anderson is the Director of Legislative and Constituent Affairs for the Office of the Attorney General. In her current role, Ms. Anderson is responsible for development and implementation of the Attorney General's policy objectives and for linking Virginia citizens with resources within and outside of the Office. Ms. Anderson is a veteran staffer for legislators in both the Virginia House of Delegates and Virginia Senate. In addition to her work in state government, Ms. Anderson has diverse experience ranging from delivering aid in developing countries to marketing for multi-national retail companies. Ms. Anderson is a native of Bedford County, Virginia and a proud graduate of Central Virginia Community College, Virginia Tech, and the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership.
